With the development of China's powder coating industry for more than 30 years, the manufacturing field of powder coating production equipment in China has developed into a mature field that masters core technologies, has independent design and research and development capabilities. On the one hand, industry enterprises have the ability to provide a complete range of powder coating production lines, single machines, accessories, and turnkey engineering services with high technical levels to domestic and international markets. The safety and explosion-proof performance of some enterprise products have been evaluated and certified by domestic and international organizations, and they comply with Chinese, EU, and international standards in product research and development, manufacturing processes, and quality control. This is a condition for ensuring product quality and continuously improving product market share both domestically and internationally. On the other hand, some enterprises adopt computer-aided design manufacturing (CAD-CAM) systems, which greatly improve the level of product design and manufacturing processes, ensuring the technical performance and reliability of equipment. At present, there are about 30 large-scale enterprises engaged in the production of powder coating equipment in China.

As of 2016, the five standards in the field of powder equipment drafted by the Coating and Coating Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society have been promulgated and implemented, and the relevant standards in the field of powder equipment are already complete. This has played a significant role in ensuring product quality, regulating corporate market behavior, and continuously improving product market share both domestically and internationally. However, it is worth noting that domestic powder equipment enterprises have basically discounted the implementation of standards.

Currently, China is vigorously promoting green products, green manufacturing (factories), and intelligent production, all of which are closely related to equipment. Our country's equipment still has a long way to go in terms of safety, noise, intelligence, and energy consumption. It is particularly noteworthy that due to fierce market competition, the profits of equipment companies on equipment are becoming increasingly thin. Many equipment companies have resorted to selling accessories to make profits, which is not a good phenomenon. The "Technical Specification for Safety and Health of Powder Coating Enterprises" led by the society has been approved and is currently being formulated. Although it is aimed at powder coating production enterprises, it will inevitably require equipment fields to support and improve it. In the future, it will force equipment enterprises to transform and upgrade. I hope to attract the attention of equipment companies and make early preparations.
