Belt conveyors have strong conveying capacity, long conveying distance, simple structure and easy maintenance. They can easily implement programmed control and automatic operation. They are commonly used conveying machinery in coal mines, mining, metallurgy and other industries. Although conveyors have so many advantages, they also have failures. 1. Causes of oil leakage in reducer
1. Oil leakage at the shaft end: the oil return groove in the bearing and reducer of the belt conveyor is blocked; the felt pad and rubber ring are damaged or aged, and the seal fails;
2. Oil leakage from the screw hole of the bearing gland or the joint surface between the end face of the bearing gland and the reducer housing: the bearing gland bolts are not tightened or the gasket is damaged;
3. Oil leakage from the mating plane of the reducer housing: the mating plane of the reducer housing is deformed; the mating bolts are not tightly connected, and the sealant is damaged and failed;
4. Oil leakage from the joint surface between the reducer oil filling hole cover and the reducer housing: the oil filling hole cover bolts are not tightened; the gasket is damaged and the oil filling hole cover is deformed;
5. Oil leakage from the bottom of the reducer housing: the reducer housing of the belt conveyor is broken and damaged.
Treatment of oil leakage in reducer
1. Clear the oil return groove in the reducer and install the oil baffle on the shaft; replace the felt pad and the sealing rubber ring;
2. Tighten the bearing cover screws and replace the damaged gaskets;
3. Use oil-resistant rubber pads at the reducer housing, tighten the matching bolts, and replace the sealant;
4. Tighten the oil filling hole cover screws, replace the damaged gaskets, and level or replace the oil filling hole cover;
5. Repair the damaged parts of the reducer housing of the belt conveyor. If the damage is serious, replace the reducer housing.
6. Judge the working status of the reducer based on its running sound. Listen to the ears near the reducer, or touch the reducer housing with a screwdriver, put the ear on the wooden handle, and listen to the running sound of the reducer gears and bearings. The normal operation sound of the reducer is relatively balanced. If you hear periodic abnormal noise, it means that the gear teeth of the reducer of the belt conveyor are deformed, resulting in a smaller tooth gap or metal foreign matter between the teeth; if you hear frequent irregular abnormal noise at the reducer bearing, it means that the bearing frame is damaged or the ball is damaged; if you feel abnormal vibration of the reducer, it means that the entire gear meshing condition is not good or the anchor bolts are loose, and the abnormal situation must be handled in time.
2. Reasons for reverse flying
1. Overload operation; 2. Insufficient braking torque of the belt conveyor brake; 3. Misoperation, causing the cargo flow direction to reverse.
Prevention and treatment of reverse runaway
1. Control the amount of coal fed and prohibit overload operation; 2. Adjust the braking torque to meet the braking requirements; 3. Concentrate and operate the belt conveyor carefully according to the operating procedures; 4. Add a check valve; 5. After a reverse runaway accident occurs, you can check and handle it according to the following steps: ① Check whether the motor, reducer, coupling and brake system are damaged; if damaged, they should be repaired or replaced in time; ② Clear the coal pile at the tail of the machine; ③ Adjust the gap between the gate wheel (gate disc) and the brake shoe; ④ Slowly run at no load, pay attention to listen for any abnormal sound from each part; ⑤ Run with a small amount of load, pay attention to listen for any abnormal sound from each part; ⑥ Before the belt conveyor is officially put into use, it needs to be tested and put into operation after confirming that there is no problem.
